Gaza Strip - June 10, 2024

In a swift and decisive operation spanning 18 hours, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) units, including the Dudan Special Forces Unit (94), the Leopards Battalion (41), and the Shin Bet, successfully neutralized a terrorist threat in the Pharaoh region of the Jordan Valley.

During the operation, IDF fighters located and destroyed an explosives laboratory used for manufacturing bombs, uncovering over 80 explosive devices and additional explosive barrels. Furthermore, the forces seized additional combat materials found inside a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Engaging in exchanges of fire with militants, IDF fighters eliminated one terrorist and inflicted injuries on others. Additionally, Unit 636 launched a drone attack on armed militants posing a threat to Israeli forces in the region.

As part of the operation, eight wanted individuals suspected of terrorist activities were apprehended. The detainees and seized combat materials were transferred to security forces for further processing, with no casualties reported among our forces.
