This is the impressive moment rats evaded family traps to invade a home at night.
The clever rodents successfully dodged the sticky papers placed on the floor in the house in Zhangzhou, Fujian, China, on June 3.
CCTV footage shows the animals jumping on the counter instead of walking on the floor.
They can also be seen carefully avoiding the traps set by the owner of the house.
The homeowner said: 'I placed them in several locations where I thought the rats would have to cross, but they invaded them one by one. They just sniffed them and then made their way around them. I have no idea how they knew that they were dangerous.'
