US: Climate Activists Hold Multi-Day Protest Outside Citi HQ In New York City 3
Activists from climate groups Stop the Money Pipeline, New York Communities for Change, Climate Defenders, and Planet Over Profit held a multi-day protest called "The Summer of Heat on Wall Street" outside the Citigroup's headquarters in New York City beginning Monday, June 10.
NYPD arrested some of the protesters due to disorderly conduct during the activists' blockade of the entrance to the building.
The protesters were demanding Wall Street to stop funding oil, coal, and gas.
