A semi-permanent house belonging to Aspar in Tinakin Laut Village, Banggai District, Banggai Laut Regency, Central Sulawesi, was destroyed by a red rooster.

This unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday night, June 13 2024 at 22.00 WITA, which also burned down a basic food kiosk belonging to Linda, as well as a house belonging to Efi.

Two fire engines were dispatched to extinguish the fire, assisted by personnel from the Banggai Police, TNI, BPBD and the community. After almost an hour the fire was finally extinguished.

"There were three buildings on fire, we together with other officers extinguished the fire which burned down three residents' houses. This happened in the midst of a disaster, the flood had not subsided and there was another fire," said Banggai Laut Police Chief, AKP Gimanto.

Meanwhile, it is known that on Thursday 13 June 2024 this afternoon, the Banggai sub-district was hit by a natural disaster, a major flood which inundated three sub-districts at once and hundreds of residents' houses were flooded, including the Banggai sub-district.
