As of June 13, 2024, firefighters battling the Trail Fire have achieved full containment, marking a significant milestone in the effort to control the blaze that has scorched 350 acres. The fire, which had prompted evacuations earlier, is now fully under control with all evacuation orders lifted.

The fire, initially mapped at 193 acres, remained at 20 percent containment as crews worked tirelessly to secure the fire line and extinguish hotspots. Fortunately, no structures were lost, and there have been no reported injuries related to the blaze.

Overnight efforts by fire crews proved effective, with containment increasing to 40 percent by the morning of June 12. Crews continued to mop up remaining hotspots, ensuring the fire remained within the established perimeter.
