Dramatic landslide blocks narrow road in Taiwan
This is the dramatic moment a landslide blocked a narrow road in Taiwan.
Rocks and debris from the mountain flooded the motorway at Aowanda National Forest Recreation Area in Nantou County, Taiwan, on June 6.
Footage shows boulders drastically collapsing due to heavy rainfall. Tourists passing by witnessed the terrifying disaster, causing them unable to cross the road.
They can be heard shouting 'Oh my God!' as the rocks rumbled down.
The management closed the park for three days to clear the debris.
They reopened the road, but some parts of the hill collapsed again in the afternoon, on June 10.
Authorities cautioned locals to be vigilant and careful when crossing the route.
