A wild tiger was finally captured in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, after it killed a villager in May.

Footage from June 13 shows forest officials carrying the tranquillised tiger into a cage on a vehicle.

It is currently undergoing health checkups at Satpura Tiger Reserve, it will be released back into the wild after 5 to 6 days of observation.

A team of 100 forest personnel, including DFOs, rangers, field experts, and doctors, camped in the forest. Using five elephants and over 170 cameras to track the tiger’s movements and efforts paid off when the tiger was spotted near Surai forest.
