Optician's glass door suddenly shatters in the middle of the night
This is the spooky moment an optician's glass door suddenly shattered in the middle of the night in Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the inside of the eyewear shop when the main door suddenly collapsed into pieces in Bangkok on December 20.
The debris was discovered in the morning by the owner when she opened for the day.
The security cameras were reviewed thinking the shop had been broken into by thieves but found none.
The cause was still unknown but it could be due to rapid temperature fluctuations. The afternoon heat can create thermal stresses within the glass which, when cooled down at night, causes cracks to form.
