Grandmother flips over the handlebars on a seesaw
This is the amusing moment a grandmother lost her balance and flipped over the handlebars while riding on a seesaw.
Lisa Lloyd, 55, was on holiday in Corfu, Greece with her husband David, 58, a forklift driver, in May 2024 .
For fun, they decided to get their friend Paula, a 57-year-old betting shop assistant manager, to video them riding on a seesaw for their four grandkids - nine, five, four and one.
But Lisa suddenly lost her balance while sitting at the highest point and fell over the handles and onto the ground - landing on her back.
She was left with a cut on her ear but now finds the incident hilarious.
Lisa, a security officer, from Feltham, Middlesex said: ""I turned for the camera and my husband is a bigger person, so I sort of lost my balance and fell forward over the bars. "
"I sort of just jumped off and my ear was bleeding. "
"It left quite a gash but luckily it was not the face."
It is a tradition for the couple to send a photo of themselves on a slide or seesaw to their family when they are on holiday.
The tradition started a randomly a few years ago for their eldest grandchild.
When they spotted the seesaw in Corfu they knew they had to jump on.
Lisa said: "Paula was only meant to take photo and ended up recording."
"Our grandkids are a one, four, five and nine-years-old and they all found it hilarious." "
Lisa said that David "panicked at first" but then they all laughed about it. "
The couple left for Corfu on May 28, 2024 and stayed for 10 nights before returning to the UK on June 7.
Lisa said: "We stayed by the pool and the beach."
"We also hired a boat and quad bikes, but the seesaw was my undoing."
