Awesome footage of hyenas cooling off playing like children in a waterhole in South Africa.

The video, filmed at Kruger National Park on February 11, shows the hyenas playing around and biting each other after "hijacking" the waterhole early in the morning.

The filmer later wrote online: "These Hyenas 'hijacked' this waterhole during the recent heat stroke in Kruger.

"They were out for a morning swim around 6am as it was already getting hot."

"They repeatedly dunked their faces under the water and jumped in, out and around in the waterhole clearly enjoying themselves," he continued.

"The next morning they were back at the same waterhole taking a swim.

"This was just before the recent floods in Kruger National Park."
