STORYLINE:
An intergovernmental agreement on the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project was signed last week. Experts say the project will bring tangible benefits to all participants in the region.
The railway starts from Kashgar in China's Xinjiang, and enters the territory of Uzbekistan through Kyrgyzstan. In the future, it can extend to West Asia and South Asia.
