USA: Acton Fatal Traffic Collision Involving Tow Truck Hauling Car

CHP and the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 14 Freeway and Escondido Canyon Rd for reports of three cars on fire. When units arrived at the location, they found a car that had slammed into the back of a tow truck, causing it to go under the car that was being towed. One person was pulled from the car that was on fire but was pronounced dead at the location, and another was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
CHP is investigating.
