A broken down lorry was dangerously carried on the back of a truck without a harness.

Footage shows the trailer vehicle tilted while sitting on the open cargo bed of another car in Bulacan, the Philippines, on June 9.

While travelling at moderate speed, the lorry wobbled with every bump, causing other drivers to make distance as it didn't have safety ropes to keep it in place.

Driver Tristan Joseph Flores, who was on a motorbike behind, said, ‘It was dangerous to be near it, so I slowed down.'

According to data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the number of fatalities due to road traffic accidents in 2022 exceeded a staggering 12,000. Reckless driving practices, such as speeding, overtaking in unsafe conditions, and disregarding traffic signals, are common among some drivers in the developing country.
