Solar water heater narrowly misses two women after strong winds blow it off roof in China
A solar water heater blown off by strong winds narrowly missed two women passing by in eastern China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in Bozhou City in Anhui Province on June 16.
The solar water heater, likely suffering from a prolonged lack of professional maintenance, had ageing components unable to withstand the strong winds, ultimately leading to its fall. At that moment, the two women happened to be walking through the area.
Fortunately, the heater did not hit them directly, allowing them to escape the dangerous situation.
The Anhui Provincial Meteorological Observatory upgraded its severe convective weather warning to yellow (the second strongest level). It was anticipated that many areas would experience short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, or hail.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
