A Cow Weighing 90 Kilograms Fell Into A Resident's Well In Tamalanrea District, Makassar City, South Sulawesi On Sunday 16 June 2024 Evening.

A Total Of 18 Makassar Fire Department Officers Were Deployed To Remove The Cow From The Well Which Was Only 1 Meter Wide And 12 Meters Deep.

The Evacuation Process Was Dramatic, Using Ropes And Rescuers For Height, As Well As Breathing Apparatus For Officers Who Entered The Well.

"We Use Tripod Rescue Equipment And We Use Ropes And Rescue Equipment At Heights To Evacuate Sacrificial Cows," Said Idham Khalid, Head Of Makassar Fire Rescue And Evacuation Operations.

The Evacuation Process Was Carried Out For Almost Two Hours, Finally The Cow Was Rescued From The Well.

It Is Known That The Cow Fell Because Initially The Sacrificial Cow's Ties Came Loose So It Struggled And Ran Away. While Running, The Cow Stepped On A Well Hole Which Was Covered With Boards And Entered The Resident's Well.

The Evacuation Process Was Carried Out For Almost Two Hours, Finally The Cow Was Rescued From The Well.
