Driver rushes to stop pickup truck from rolling away without handbrake
A driver who forgot to park his pickup truck properly rushed to pull the handbrake when it rolled away from the garage.
Tao Surapan was loading motorbikes on the cargo bed of a white vehicle which almost slid down the sloped ramp as he fixed the two-wheelers in his home in Samut Songkhram, Thailand, on June 13.
CCTV footage shows Tao trying to fit a second motorbike when the car advanced. He jumped off the back of the vehicle and rushed to climb into the driver's seat to pull the brakes.
His relative, who saw what happened, also ran towards the car and opened the door for Tao.
Tao said: ‘I forgot to pull the handbrake. Fortunately, I stopped it before it could roll into the street.'
Although his truck was not severely damaged, it had scratches from hitting potted plants.
