Terrifying moment woman swarmed by food-seeking monkeys at Chinese scenic area
A woman was cornered by a group of aggressive monkeys while visiting Qianling Mountain in Guiyang, Guizhou on June 14.
The incident, which left the woman momentarily terrified, occurred when the monkeys were attracted by the food she was carrying.
During her visit, the woman unknowingly drew the attention of the monkeys with her food. The primates exhibited aggressive behaviour, climbing on her shoulders and head in an attempt to snatch her bag. Panicked by the sudden attack, the woman found herself backed into a corner.
In a bid to protect herself, the woman eventually decided to offer the food to the monkeys. Satisfied with the food, the monkeys dispersed, allowing the woman to escape unharmed.
