A kind local drove to the mountain and gave away dozens of durian fruits to wild monkeys.

Piyamat Na Phatthalung took crates of the expensive snack on the back of his pickup truck which they handed to the hungry primates in Phuket province, Thailand on May 8.

Footage shows the Good Samaritan with his relative cutting open the durian and passing them to the macaques that gathered around them.

They distributed at least five crates of durians among the animals, which were surprisingly well-behaved and waited for their turn, in contrast to the troops in the city.

Piyamat said: ‘We gave away durians to the monkeys, and they loved it so much.'

Thailand is one of the world's largest producers and exporters of durian. Due to its popularly, it is nicknamed the 'king of fruits'. It is deeply revered for its unique taste and aroma.
