A heavily-built teacher arm wrestles his pupils for fun.

Art and physical education instructor Nattawut Yana had a special activity for the kids to make their classes more fun.

Footage shows Nattawut on a match with the young lads inside the classroom. He was stronger than them but the youngsters tried their best, with some of the matches involving three boys teaming up against him.

Nattawut said: ‘My students have so much energy and we tried to be active as much as possible.'
Nattawut explained to the reporter that arm wrestling has recently gained recognition as a sport in Phayao.

The teacher practised it with Narin, Yee, and Guy, who were arm wrestling athletes in Phayao.

He said: 'That was how I expressed my commitment to supporting youth and anyone interested in practising this sport.'

Teacher Nattawut taught arm wrestling to students during lunch break and put a table and other equipment for it at the school.

He said: 'We recently organised the first arm wrestling tournament in January, attracting competitors from Phayao and other provinces.'
