USA: Fatal Crash Involving Horse in Santa Clarita, LA

A traffic collision involved a sedan and a horse that was pronounced deceased at the scene by CHP.
Residents heard the collision and the screaming from a female who was the driver of the sedan involved in the crash. Her vehicle sustained major front end damage and she was later transported by ambulance to a local hospital due to her injuries.
CHP had the road block for an unknown duration for the investigation. It is unclear at this time if the horse was alone or with a rider at the time of the collision. A saddle was observed on the horse.
