A quick-thinking mother saved her daughter from choking in northern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Anyang City in Henan Province on June 12.

While the mother was exercising in another room, her daughter Chengzi was playing in the living room. Suddenly, Chengzi began choking on a piece of candy. Hearing the alarming sounds, the mother raced to her daughter's side and quickly assessed the situation, observing Chengzi struggling to breathe.

Without hesitation, the mother lifted her daughter in an attempt to help her spit out the candy. Despite moments of distress as Chengzi coughed and vomited, her breathing gradually returned to a stable rhythm.

On June 12, 2024, in Anyang, Henan, a mother's quick response saved her daughter from a dangerous situation.

While the mother was exercising in another room, her 1.5-year-old daughter Chengzi, playing in the living room, began choking on a piece of candy.

Upon hearing the commotion, the mother rushed out and noticed that Chengzi's breathing sounded a bit unusual. She expertly performed the Heimlich maneuver, dislodging the candy immediately.

Although the child kept coughing and even vomited, her breathing returned to normal.
