Raising a giant flag at the cliff beach of Aceh Besar, Indonesia
On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, members of the Student Nature Lovers Group (Mapala), along with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and local community, unfurled a giant Merah Putih flag at the Cliff Beach tourist area in Meunasah Balee Village, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh. The flag, measuring 16x4 meters, was raised as part of the festivities commemorating the 77th anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day. This monumental gesture not only celebrated national unity but also highlighted the natural beauty of Aceh's coastal landscape, enhancing the spirit of patriotism among participants and visitors alike.
