A 10-month-old kitten, Baobao, ran to reunite with his mother, Huahua, after time apart in eastern China.

The heartwarming moment was filmed in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, on May 29.

The owner of the mother cat Huahua was heard saying: "Baobao! Your mother is coming!”

Upon being reunited, the cats sniffed and lovingly licked each other.

On the evening of May 29, 2024, in Zhejiang, a cat owner took the opportunity to walk her 10-month-old male cat Baobao, leading to a touching encounter.

At a cobblestone road intersection, a mother cat Huahua, and her kitten, who had not seen each other for a while, recognized each other instantly.

As Huahua started trotting and got approached to them, the owner exlaimed, ”Baobao! Your mother is coming!”

The kitten and its mother sniffed each other, displaying the deep bond between them.

Huahua is not a stray cat who is a free-roaming pet owned by a bookstore owner.
