Firemen rescue visitors stranded on amusement park swing in Russia
This is the dramatic moment firemen rescued revellers stranded on a stalled amusement park ride in Russia.
Footage shows the rescue team assisting a visitor suspended 50 feet above the ground on the malfunctioning swing attraction in Nalchik City on June 16.
The Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) said in a statement: 'Swing rides at the amusement park in Nalchik stopped due to technical reasons. Immediately, forces and resources from the EMERCOM of Russia in Kabardino-Balkaria were dispatched to the scene. EMERCOM staff successfully evacuated 13 individuals.'
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the malfunction was being investigated.
