Snake caught on CCTV sneaking up on terrified woman
A wild yellow-spotted keelback slithered past a girl and sparked panic in a family's home.
CCTV footage shows the serpent slinking on the concrete floor when it was spotted by the terrified resident in Ayutthaya, Thailand, on June 14.
It fled under the dining table while the youngster darted away before she returned to check where the animal went.
The other women in the house rushed to the dining area to chase the snake away together with their dogs.
No one was hurt, and the snake escaped to the back of the property with the help of the pooches.
The yellow-spotted keelback has a slender body and head, a yellow, tan, or light brown base colour, and rows of distinct dark blotches along its back. It is non-venomous and relatively harmless to humans, as it has small teeth and a mild disposition.
