A golden retriever unexpectedly swam into a lake and clashed with the resident swans in northwest China.

The video was filmed at Sayram Lake in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on June 12.

Reports indicate that a visitor's unleashed golden retriever leapt into the lake, approaching the nesting area of the swans, disturbing their tranquillity and triggering a confrontation.

Upon learning of the situation, park staff promptly intervened, guiding the visitor to leash the dog and remove it from the swans' habitat, preventing further escalation.
