USA: Vermont Square Hit-and-Run Auto vs Pedestrian

LAPD Southwest and LAFD responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian at the intersection of W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and Budlong Ave.
When first responders arrived on scene, they located the pedestrian down in the roadway not breathing. The victim was transported to the hospital by LAFD in unknown condition.
The LAPD did not have an update on the victim as of Thursday afternoon.
The vehicle that left the scene was only described as a black truck, according to the LAPD.
LAPD South Traffic was holding the scene pending the prognosis of the victim.
