An amusing video has emerged of parents announcing to their children that they are taking them on a surprise trip to Disney World.

The footage, shot last month at their home near Nashville, TN, USA, shows the moment the parents tell their three children they are not going to Murfreesboro to see their old house but to Disney World in Orlando, FL.

While the oldest two seem relieved and even delighted about the impromptu trip, Pete, the youngest, starts crying because he wanted to go to their home town.

"For years, we've been promising our older kids that we'd go to Disney World, and for years, they've been disappointed," the father wrote online.

"Well, the surprise was on THEM this time."
