China: Rescuing a Car from the River
Chengdu, Sichuan, China - June 13, 2024
A white sedan was half-submerged in the river, with only part of its body visible above the water. Onlookers on the shore quickly dialed emergency services. Several swimmers dove in, using rocks to smash the car windows and rescue the driver.
This footage was filmed by Ms. Tang, in Pidu, Chengdu, Sichuan, at 7:58 pm, on June 13, 2024.
The unconscious driver was roused by the swimmers and escaped through the broken window. Once at the shore, the crowd extended their hands, pulling the driver to safety.
