Abbey Halford and Jared Jenner's engagement plan was anything but ordinary. The couple, parents to a 15-month-old son, decided to take their first holiday away together in Melbourne. They set out to paint each other with a unique and fun twist while enjoying cheese and wine.

Jared, wanting to make the moment unforgettable, painted "Will You Marry Me?" in vibrant colors. Abbey, unsuspecting of the proposal, was focused on creating her own masterpiece. Jared then asked her to close her eyes and take a picture of his painting, leading to the big reveal. When they flipped their portraits together, Abbey saw the surprise proposal.

Jared told Newsflare: "Could not be happier! Engaged to the love of my life. Abbey and I have been together for 3 years before this. It’s all she’s ever wanted. I decided to do it on our holiday to Melbourne."

It was my engagement plan, wanted to do something unique and fun.
