When it comes to feeding the pigs, freshly cooked seafood, including crabs and lobsters, is not usually on the menu.

However, that is exactly what is offered every day by this farmer in Ningbo in Zhejiang province, eastern China.

In one video from June 8, he can be seen adding the expensive seafood items into the trough with the enthusiastic pigs and then crunching into the tasty crustaceans enthusiastically.

Some of the sea creatures are still alive and can be seen moving before being eaten up by the greedy pigs. The fact that the pigs look well-fed and healthy attracted the attention of curious online commentators.

The pig farmer said that although it looked extravagant because he lived by the coast these food options were actually plentiful and much cheaper than conventional pig food, and as a result, the daily diet for his pigs consisted of freshly cooked lobsters and crabs.
