India: Diesel tanker overturns on expressway in northern India

A major accident took place in northern India's Uttar Pradesh where a diesel tanker overturned on an expressway.
The incident took place near Chhiriya Salempur at Bundelkhand Expressway of Jalaun area on June 20.
Visuals showed that the tanker was overturned on the road while the diesel kept spilling on the road. The other set of visuals showed the tanker being lifted from by the help of cranes and the officials were observing the situation carefully. However, the locals were in distressed state.
According to reports, diesel spread on the road due to the overturning of the tanker, causing chaos. On the information of the accident, the police separated the truck from the road with a crane machine. For safety and regulation precautions, the police called the fire brigade vehicle on the spot. The police helped in lifting the tanker from the middle of the road with a crane machine.
According to officials, the police have stated that the situation is under control and the traffic has come back to normalcy
