German consumer goods company Beiersdorf has strong confidence and commitment to invest in China, Xue Wei, the company's managing director of Northeast Asia, said in a recent interview with Xinhua.

"Despite all these uncertainties in the past few years, China market managed to grow continuously and very sustainably. Actually we will continue to invest. This is actually our commitment.
I think our confidence level is very high and also we have long-term commitment to China, because we believe the future is actually in China, because China has the huge market. We believe in this market." 

Xue said Beiersdorf sees the Chinese market not only as a growth driver, but also as a crucial element in the company's global strategy.

As the world's second-largest economy, (China) is of profound significance to the world.
