Road collapses at subway construction site in China
Footage shows the aftermath of a road that collapsed at the site of a subway construction in China.
Two water pipes exploded in the metro subway beneath the national motorway, causing it to sink in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, on June 21.
A large hole formed in the middle of the road near high-rise apartment buildings. Police immediately ordered the evacuation of residents living nearby.
The affected roads were closed indefinitely until repairs were completed. There were no reported casualties from the incident.
