On June 19, a rare footage about a woman's journey home on her electric scooter in deep water was captured amidst challenging weather conditions in China’s westeast Province Guangxi, Guilin city.

Recently, Guilin City in Guangxi has been hit by rare heavy rainfall, causing the water levels of major rivers like the Li River to surge dramatically. Starting from the evening of June 12th, Guilin has been under relentless rain. By 5 PM on June 19th, the water level at Guilin Station had risen to 148.55 meters, exceeding the warning level by 2.55 meters, marking the highest flood level in the region since 1998.

Despite the adverse conditions, she persevered, humorously dubbing her ride as her "smart electric scooter taking me home." Her electric scooter was wooed by many Chinese netizen as the best amphibious vehicle for the season.
