STORYLINE:
At least eight people were killed in a multi-story office building fire in the city of Fryazino of the Moscow region, local emergencies service said on Monday.
"Two people died after jumping out of a window. Six others inside the building were killed while the interior structures collapsed," Tass news agency reported, citing local emergencies service.
Footage online shows thick smoke billowing from the upper floors of the eight-storey complex.
According to Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov, 12 fire fighting trucks and hundreds of firefighters were sent to the site to extinguish the fire.
It is not immediately clear what caused the fire, but one eyewitness told Tass that it broke out on the sixth floor before spreading.
