STORYLINE:
The second Belt and Road International Skills Competition is underway in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
Local college student Li Siyin is one of nearly 600 participants from 61 countries and regions.

"Our major is called BIM, Building Information Modeling. It has many applications in the construction industry. For example, designers can use it to optimize blueprints."
The three-day event aims to provide a platform for communication and exchange between talented young individuals, promoting international cooperation in the field of vocational skills. It also seeks to further advance the Belt and Road Initiative.
Organized under the theme of "Skills cooperation for common development," 18 events will be held to cover a wide range of fields, including digital construction, logistics and freight forwarding, electronic technology, electrical installation, automotive technology (new energy) and internet marketing.
The competition will continue until June 26.
