USA: Corona 11 Acre Brush Fire

Fire sits currently at 11.5 acres
On June 24, 2024, Riverside County Fire Department was dispatched to the area of the 800 block of Mandevilla Way in regard to a brush fire with structures threatened.
Firefighters arrived on scene and noticed a hillside on fire with flames headed straight toward homes. The fire jumped Mandevilla Way and headed toward Via Blairo.
At that time, the incident commander requested water dropping helicopters and additional fire resources to the fire. Corona Police Department officers began to evacuate the homes in the area.
At this time, it doesn't look like any homes were lost. No Injuries reported. Firefighters will remain on scene to continue to fight this fire
Handling agencies: Cal Fire Riverside, Corona Fire Dept. and the Corona Police Dept.
