Severe weather conditions have prompted an extensive response from firefighters across Emilia Romagna, as they have carried out over 180 rescue operations since yesterday. The majority of these interventions were in response to flooding and landslides affecting key roadways.

In Forli Cesena, 42 rescues were completed, with the area around Bagno di Romagna experiencing the highest impact. Meanwhile, in Modena, where 70 operations were conducted, teams evacuated a family from Campogalliano due to the overflowing Secchia River. Throughout the night, teams from the Bologna Command worked in Marzabotto and Vergato, addressing several landslides along State Road 64 and providing assistance to stranded motorists.

Reggio Emilia reported 30 interventions, with the towns of Rubiera, Casalgrande, and Felina particularly affected. In Parma, where the Termina stream overflowed in multiple locations, 20 operations focused on drainage and water damage mitigation.
