Awesome drone footage of two islands poking out of a semi-frozen lake in Canada.

The video, filmed on a DJI Phantom 3 drone above Lake Simcoe on Sunday, shows Fox and Snake Islands poking out of the ice, which is beginning to crack and melt as Spring arrives.

The drone footage was taken in the afternoon of 13 Mar 2016, east of Lake Simcoe, near Georgina, Southern Ontario, Canada.

Additional Note:
After the War of 1812, these islands were purchased by Chief Joseph Snake (a member of the Chippewas of Georgina Island First Nation) from the British. It is unclear if the islands were named after him. Source: Wikipedia.
