Moscow, Russia - June 17, 2024

A female smuggler has been seized in Russia after she flew in from Dubai with GBP 117,000 of luxury watches stashed in her vagina.

Astonished customs officers at Moscow airport found two Rolexes and a gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak during an intimate body search.

Video footage obtained from Russian customs officials shows the watch beside a man's Rolex Submariner and a diamond-studded ladies' Oyster Perpetual Datajust.

A statement from the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation on 17th June obtained by Nesflash said: "A Vietnamese citizen tried to smuggle three luxury watches worth RUB 12.5 million [GBP 117,000] inside herself.

"The woman flew to Domodedovo from Dubai.
"In the 'green' corridor, she was stopped by customs officers and asked to go through a metal detector. The signal went off."
They added: "It turned out that the 52-year-old passenger was carrying two Rolexes and an Audemars Piguet.
"So she tried to avoid paying customs duties of RUB 3.6 million [GBP 34,000].
"Criminal cases have been initiated. For smuggling, the violator faces up to five years in prison."
