A crying kitten stuck behind a cabinet was rescued by a family.

Footage shows the black tabby feline's head poking out of the thin space as it was struggling to free itself from the back of the heavy furniture in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand on June 16.

Resident Busaraporn Onchaam said she heard the sounds in their home and began the search before they found the moggy.

They searched more and spotted its two siblings which were unhurt and were cleaned up before they were fed.

Busaraporn said: ‘We rescued the kittens including the one with its neck stuck in the locker cabinet. We will raise them with us now.'

The family adopted the moggies with their pet dog. They were all safe and uninjured.
