USA: Coast Guard Rescues 2 Men from Stranded Sailing Vessel Near Charleston Jetties

A daring rescue operation unfolded near the south jetties of Charleston today as a Coast Guard Air Station Savannah helicopter crew came to the aid of two men stranded aboard a 38-foot sailing vessel. The vessel had run aground, necessitating immediate assistance.
Upon receiving the distress call, the aircrew swiftly arrived at the scene and assessed the situation. With precision and expertise, they safely hoisted the two men from the vessel and transported them to Charleston Executive Airport-JZI. Fortunately, no medical issues were reported during the rescue.
