West Bank - June 25, 2024

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), and Border Police conducted overnight raids apprehending 24 wanted individuals across Judea and Samaria, including the Jordan Valley.

In ongoing efforts to maintain security, IDF units engaged in a series of operations aimed at apprehending suspects involved in various security offenses. Near Nablus, forces intercepted militants who had fired upon an army vehicle within the Manasseh Division's jurisdiction. No casualties were reported, but the vehicle sustained damage.

The arrests included 14 individuals in Balata, a Hamas stronghold, where authorities seized combat equipment and munitions hidden in a local structure. Additional arrests took place in Bethlehem and Tekoa, where suspects were apprehended for their alleged roles in recent violent activities and disturbances.

In Ramallah, forces arrested a wanted suspect amidst confrontations where suspects threw stones at security personnel, prompting the use of crowd control measures.

Two additional suspects were detained in Beitunia, where they were found in possession of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and weaponry. Security measures were heightened in response to violent disruptions, with forces dispersing riots and documenting injuries.

Throughout operations, the IDF and allied security agencies maintained a heightened presence, underscoring efforts to curb terrorist activities and safeguard civilian populations.

Since the conflict's onset, approximately 4,150 suspects have been arrested throughout the Judea and Samaria region, with 1,750 linked to Hamas, a prominent terrorist organization.
