Tabar Utsav is being organized in the Government School of village Batta of Kaithal district under the joint aegis of Department of Art and Cultural Affairs, Haryana and Education Department, Haryana. In this program, students are being given training in modern sculpture, clay modeling, relief and 3D sculptural art based on Haryana culture.This 30-day summer camp Tabor Utsav-2024 is being organized in 22 government schools in 22 districts of the state, in which students from class 9th to class 12th are participating with great enthusiasm. This Tabar Utsav was inaugurated by Additional Chief Secretary of Art and Cultural Affairs Department, V. Uma Shankar, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department, Dr. G. It is being organized under the supervision of Anupama and the program is being organized under the leadership of Art and Cultural Officer Hriday Kaushal.The objective of Summer Camp Tabor Utsav is to provide opportunities to the promising students of Haryana state to hone their talent in sculpture art and to develop the vanishing sculpture art in the state as well as to provide guidance to the promising artists in the state. In the field of art, technical training is being given in aesthetic and various mediums of sculpture and craft through learning by doing process along with technical approach and experimental practice.During the summer vacation, there will be creative and artistic development of the students and also by gathering boys and girls from different areas of the state at one place, free sculpture training will be given to the students in the form of training and hobby classes in the government schools of that area. Training and daily refreshments are also provided.Through this, all the students are participating enthusiastically in art competitions in the future and getting to know about national and international level sculpture competitions.
In this event, students of Batta School including Durga, Payal, Anjali and Sonia while talking to the media said that they are very happy to participate in this event. Along with getting information about the culture of Haryana, they are getting a good opportunity to learn modern sculpture, clay modeling, relief, 3D sculptural art and painting.He said that in this camp, they are being provided with all kinds of goods free of cost and are being taught tricks by expert trainers and they are also given refreshments. He said that the government should organize such camps in all the schools of the state during school holidays. Trainer of this camp, Sanjeev Kumar and School Principal Sanjeev Kumar said that all the students should have fun by making small sculptures from the materials used in sculpture like clay, POP and other materials etc.
