A crazed Chinese K-pop fan fought with staff at a meet and greet with Korean girl group BabyMonster in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Chinese 'sasaeng' - the Korean term for an intrusive and obsessive fan - was allegedly disturbing other spectators by cutting in line and blocking their view at the Lido Connect building on June 27.

A Thai staff member called her out, but the violent woman allegedly reportedly attacked her.

Video shows the Thai staff in white scolding the portly Chinese woman in a black shirt, who then stood up and charged at her.

The Thai woman held the crazed fan back by pulling her hair as security officials hauled her out of the venue.

Onlookers claimed that the Chinese tourist was part of a larger group of Chinese fans attending the event at a local radio station.

Sasaeng is a Korean pejorative for obsessed fans who often invade the privacy of Korean idols, actors, or other public figures in the entertainment industry.

BabyMonster arrived in Thailand on June 27 for interviews on the Flex Talk programme and the Kammakorn Khao Khui Nok Jor TV show on the morning of June 28.

On the same day, they held a Babymonster Fan Greeting Event at Parc Paragon in front of Siam Paragon at 7 PM.

On June 29 and 30, they will hold a fan meet titled 'BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE' at Siam Paragon in Bangkok.

The seven-member girl group BabyMonster, also known as 'Baemon', made their official debut on April 1. They are under the same label as the girl groups 2NE1 and BLACKPINK.
