STORYLINE:

Exhibitors have high expectations for the 8th China-Eurasia Expo, which is being held in northwest China's Xinjiang.

Themed "New Opportunities of Silk Road, New Vitality for Eurasian Cooperation," the expo will run until Sunday. It has drawn over 1,900 participants from 50 countries, regions and international organizations, showcasing over 6,000 varieties of products.

"Xinjiang is good. The environment (is good), and the people around here are all friendly. We are happy here. Our expectation is that we want it will achieve more people coming to see our products."

"I hope that the products showcased at the expo from Belarusian companies can be loved by Chinese consumers."

"I have been in Xinjiang before and found that the local people are not very familiar with Malaysian culture. This time, we hope to use the platform of the China-Eurasia Expo to let more people, from all over the world, understand Malaysia's multi-ethnic and diverse culture."

Since 2011, seven sessions of the China-Eurasia Expo have been successfully held, yielding fruitful results. During past expos, more than 12,200 domestic and foreign exhibitors from more than 70 countries and regions exhibited, attracting a total of 2.16 million visitors.
