Tourists rescue boy attacked by monkeys at China's Mount Emei
Tourists rescued a boy attacked by monkeys at Mount Emei in southern China on June 28.
Monkeys surrounded the boy, pulling and tugging at him, causing him to cry out in fear.
Fortunately, quick-thinking tourists at the scene swiftly intervened. Using trekking poles, they managed to scare off the aggressive monkeys, rescuing the child from danger.
Upon examination, the boy was found to have thankfully suffered no serious injuries.
Monkeys at Mount Emei are known for their aggressive and domineering behaviour. Authorities of the scenic area have pledged to enhance their management of wildlife to ensure visitor safety.
