Robot tour guide converses with visitor in Cambodia
A robot tour guide answered questions from a tourist during a tech fair in Cambodia.
The droid was unveiled at the Technical and Vocational Education and Training event in Phnom Penh on June 8.
Footage shows the bot having a conversation with a visitor. The man said: ‘Can you tell me more about Cambodia?'
The robot answered: ‘Cambodia is a Southeast Asian country known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and stunning landscapes. Key attractions include the ancient temples of Angkor in Siem Reap, the capital city of Phnom Penh with its royal palace and museums.'
The robot wore traditional Cambodian clothing while answering more questions from the man about tourism.
When the visitor said thank you, the robot replied: ‘You're welcome. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Cambodia.'
