Cow stuck in muddy pit rescued in Thailand
A mother cow stuck in a pit filled with muddy water was rescued in Thailand.
The 300kg bovine was eating grass in the fields when it was heard crying by its owner in Chonburi province, Thailand on June 23.
When it was found, the three-year-old cow was at the bottom of a narrow 5ft long well that was 6.5 ft deep.
Footage shows the cow looking very weak when found by firefighters. A rope was tied around its body, which was attached to a vehicle and then pulled.
Cow owner Kanya, 59, said: ‘I noticed one my animals had gone missing. I searched and tried to pull by myself. but it was too heavy.'
The cow was later freed after 30 minutes and returned to its owner. Meanwhile, the rescuers covered the well with wooden poles for safety.
